The Mechanical Project Manager / Owner’s Representative (OR) is responsible for leading, coordinating, and overseeing all mechanical workstreams on the project, acting on behalf of the client to ensure the Mechanical scope of the General Contractor (GC), specialist subcontractors, and mechanical equipment vendors deliver in full accordance with the project’s design, schedule, quality, and commercial requirements.
In this role, you will represent the client’s interests on site and throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring full alignment between mechanical scope execution and the wider multidisciplinary delivery programme. You will collaborate daily with the CSA and Electrical ORs, the Design Team, Commissioning Authority (CxA), and the wider PMC team across quality, schedule, cost, and design. The Mechanical PM/OR will ensure the mechanical works are executed safely, meet all technical specifications, and are fully coordinated with other trades. You will proactively manage contractor performance, submittals, RFIs, installation progress, commissioning readiness, interface points, logistics, and handover requirements. You will support the establishment of project processes, monitor compliance, and ensure that risks, issues, and deviations are escalated and resolved promptly.
