Responsibilities:

1. Scope & Delivery Management 

  • Act as the primary client-side representative for all electrical scope activities on site.  
  • Oversee MEP contractor performance in planning, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning of LV, MV, and HV electrical systems, including UPS, switchgear, power distribution, grounding, lighting, and controls.  
  • Review and manage electrical submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and installation details to ensure alignment with project specifications and design intent.  
  • Coordinate electrical work packages with mechanical, CSA, ICT, BMS/controls, and OFCI equipment vendors, including generators and power systems.  
  • Monitor electrical progress against schedule and identify mitigation, acceleration, or recovery measures where required.

2. Stakeholder Coordination

  • Coordinate daily with contractors, consultants, commissioning teams, and client stakeholders throughout project delivery.  
  • Participate in daily walks, multidisciplinary coordination meetings, and interface workshops to proactively identify and resolve clashes or constraints.  
  • Work closely with CSA and Mechanical OR teams to ensure integrated project delivery.  
  • Support collaboration between project management, construction, commissioning, and operations teams.  
  • Maintain clear communication channels across all project stakeholders and supply chain partners.

3. Risk & Compliance Management

  • Support the Quality Lead by supervising electrical inspections, ITP execution, FOAK mock-ups, and tracking quality issues through resolution.  
  • Oversee energisation readiness, including safe work practices, pre-energisation checklists, lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) processes, and prerequisite inspections.  
  • Ensure compliance with Finnish electrical codes, SFS standards, permits, statutory requirements, and project safety standards.  
  • Identify, monitor, and escalate project risks, issues, and deviations in a timely manner.  
  • Ensure electrical systems are installed and tested in accordance with project quality and commissioning requirements.

4. Reporting & Documentation

  • Coordinate with the CxA to validate testing readiness, system turnover sequencing, and commissioning documentation for electrical systems.  
  • Manage electrical system handover documentation including as-builts, O&M manuals, energisation records, testing certificates, and warranties.  
  • Review and validate electrical punch lists, ensuring timely closeout and full system readiness for turnover and commissioning.  
  • Maintain accurate reporting on installation progress, inspections, testing, and quality activities.  
  • Support the preparation of project reports, progress updates, and stakeholder reporting documentation. 

5. Collaboration & Integration

  • Oversee the final handover stage, ensuring commissioning outputs, training, documentation, and operational readiness requirements are fulfilled.  
  • Support integration between construction, commissioning, and operational readiness activities.  
  • Work collaboratively with project controls, quality, safety, design, and construction teams.  
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery and engineering processes.  
  • Promote a proactive, collaborative, and solutions-focused project environment.
Qualifications:
  • Relevant Electrical qualification essential, e.g., Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.  
  • Previous experience in Project Management roles within construction or engineering environments.  
  • Experience dealing with Industrial Relations issues.  
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety standards and site compliance requirements.  
  • Experience within Design & Build construction environments across Commercial, Industrial, Pharma, or Data Centre projects.  
  • Good technical knowledge of both Electrical and Mechanical systems. 
What Experience We Are Looking For
  • Experience managing electrical installations through construction, testing, commissioning, and handover phases.  
  • Strong experience overseeing LV, MV, and HV electrical systems on large-scale projects.  
  • Experience working within mission-critical or data centre environments is highly advantageous.  
  • Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage contractor performance.  
  • Experience managing commissioning readiness, energisation activities, and turnover processes.  
  • Strong communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.  
  • Ability to work effectively within fast-paced live construction environments.
