Planning Engineer

About the role

Due to continued growth, we are looking to hire a Construction Planning Engineer, with between 3-5 years of experience to join our growing team. The successful candidate will work with our team of Project Managers and construction professionals, on the efficient planning of construction projects. This position will suit a candidate who is looking for variety, who is keen to be part of the digital transformation of the construction industry and who is looking for an opportunity to further their career with a growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed master construction programmes
• Develop project control procedures
• Prepare and manage progress reports
• Ensure adequate definition of scope within the integrated schedule
• Establish reasonable baselines
• Identify and manage risk
• Track, monitor, and report project performance

Requirements:

• Minimum Qualification: Degree in Engineering / Construction Management. Previous planning experience is beneficial but not essential
• 3-5 years relevant experience in the construction Industry, preferably main contractor experience
• Strong IT skills and experience in programming software and BIM would be an advantage
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Process-driven with excellent attention to detail
