EdgeConneX announces new belgian campus outside Brussels
EdgeConneX is developing a data centre campus outside Brussels, Belgium.
The EQT-backed company announced this week it is developing a data centre campus in Ternat.
The site is expected to be ready for service in early Q1 of 2023. The first building will consist of four data halls that can support more than 20MW of capacity.

Digital Edge acquires five data centres in Japan for $230m
The Singapore-based company this week announced the acquisition of five data centre assets from ICT Services company Itochu Techno-Solutions (CTC) for approximately $230 million. CTC will remain an anchor customer across all five data centres.
Located in Tokyo, Yokohama, and Kobe, Digital Edge has added a further 5,000 cabinets and 18.5MW of capacity to its Japanese portfolio, bringing its total capacity in the country to approximately 38MW.

Codisa breaks ground on 3.5MW data centre in El Salvador
Codisa has partnered with real estate firm Aristos Group to develop its facility in Costa Rica, which will hold 322 racks and have a total capacity of 3.5MW.
The DataTrust facility is located in the Altius Tech Park in Ciudad Arce, La Libertad; the companies said they are investing $30 million in the project, which is due to come online in Q4 2022.

Bridge Data Centres announces new data centre in Malaysia
ChinData subsidiary Bridge Data Centres plans to build a new data centre in Malaysia.
The new MY06 facility will be located in the Kidex Sedenak business park in Sedenak, to the north of Johor, and will reportedly be the ‘largest of its kind in Malaysia.’
Sitting on around 40 acres of land area, the new campus will span three buildings and have a combined capacity of 100MW. The company said MY06 is on track to open towards the end of 2022 for phase 1, and Phase 2 is expected to be completed shortly thereafter.
