Chayora launches new data centre campus in Shanghai, China
Chinese developer Chayora has announced plans to develop a new 8.5 acre data centre campus in Shanghai.
At full build out, the 54MW campus will comprise three five-story buildings the company said will have capacity for up to 10,000 racks.
The first data halls in Shanghai will be Ready for Service in Q4 of 2022.

Expedient opens data centre in Denver, Colorado
Expedient has opened a new data centre in Denver, Colorado.
The company this week announced the addition of a 32,000 sq ft (3,000 sqm), 2.5MW facility to its portfolio, its third data centre announcement in less than two months.
The company said the new facility offers 18,500 sq ft (1,700 sqm) of raised floor space and could support up to 31,000 physical servers.

Prime Data Centers announces plans for new data centre in Sacramento, California
Prime Data Centers has announced plans to build a second data centre in Sacramento, California.
The company said its existing Building-1 on the McClellan Park campus, an 8MW facility, is fully leased. It said that Building-2, which will be located adjacent to the existing building, will provide up to 16MW of critical capacity and 150,000 square feet.
The new project is estimated to cost about $150 million, and the building is currently in the permitting stages.

Digital Realty opens new data centre in Hong Kong
First announced in July 2020, the new HKG11 is a 21,000 sq m (210,000 sq ft) building with up to 24MW of capacity.
The site has a total of 12 floors, eight of which will be dedicated to customer deployments.
The facility is the company’s second data centre in Hong Kong.
